The Pseudo Democrat

It is a ribald satire set in an imaginary country of Naija. The play questions the quality of leadership across Africa, placing a searchlight in the nefarious life of Chief Pedro – a depraved and unscrupulous politician – to expose the recklessness, corruption, greed, perversion and bloodthirstiness that have characterized an average African politician. The play examines the decay in our polity and exposes those responsible for this declension.
